I do feel alone sometimes with regards to vaccinations... Many of my friends, whom I thought would understand, simply don't. So much fear... stemming from a great love for our children, wanting to protect them and keep them safe... At this poing Evelyn is vaccinated up to 6 months, that's when she became sick. She's 19 months now and I believe she is doing great and the few colds she has had - she has fought off better than the rest of us! I can't go backwards, but we do what we can from here on out. She takes vitamins, a probiotic, fish oil and immunoplex to help her immune system. She is a joy to our family and I'm blessed to take care of her and help her through this journey! I have a question if you don't mind? I have read that children who have been vaccinated for certain diseases can spread the disease they have recently been vaccinated for, to unvaccinated children, for a specific time frame (a few weeks to a month). Caroline is so very blessed to have parents who will fight for her... So many Dr's want to address symptoms rather than get to the root of the problem - it seems that you have been blessed with many Dr's who want to help your daughter's body heal itself! My son is now going to be 2 next month and is totally vaccine free, and, according to or pediatrician, is the healthiest child in her practice. He has never had so much as an ear infection and doesnt suffer from many of the ailments many children do. He was fortunate enough to exclusively breasted for 6 months and we continued breast feeding until about 16 months when he self weaned. So, I recognize that helps. However, in my educated opinion ( and I went into research firmly on the pro-vacc side) I believe vaccines are unsafe and ineffective to boot. I am an educated individual and a nurse, and believe me when I say I've done my homework. I am so happy with our decision to remain vaccine free, but it pains me when I see friends as family's children sick constantly (coincidentally the amount of time and severity of their illnesses always seems to coincide with how Utd they are on their caccines). It makes me so sad that these innocent babies are suffering. Hopefully we can spread the word an save a child from pain or suffering, or even death.
